For a long time, my work around humanising how we work lived in conversations, writing, talks, and questions.
Questions like:
Why does good work feel so hard sometimes?
Why do capable people burn out inside systems that need them to thrive?
Why do we talk about culture — but design work as if people don’t matter?
Over time, I started calling the people who cared about these questions Humanisers —
people who notice when work stops feeling right, and try to make it better.
Now, this work has become something tangible.
Hi Humaniser!™ is a practical digital platform designed to help people and teams build healthier, more human ways of working.
Not through slogans or one-off wellbeing initiatives.
But through everyday actions, team rituals, reflection, collaboration and human-centred practices that actually fit into real working life.
Built through Humanising Our Workplaces, Hi Humaniser!™ brings together years of systems thinking, workplace experience, research and human-centred design into something practical, structured and real.
You might not know it yet…
But if you care about creating workplaces where people feel seen, valued, and human, then you’re already one of us.
Humanisers don’t look a certain way.
They don’t have a job title.
They don’t wait for permission.
They show up in meetings, in teams, in quiet moments and difficult conversations.
They’re the ones who notice when something feels off and choose not to ignore it.
After years inside complex organisations, I kept seeing the same pattern:
capable people under pressure, trying their best inside systems that made good work harder than it needed to be.
The issue was never effort.
It was design.
Work doesn’t change through policies alone.
It changes through people — in everyday moments, habits, conversations, and choices.
Humanisers are the ones who carry change into those spaces.
This work is not about fixing people.
It’s about supporting the people who are already trying to make work better.
Hi Humaniser!™ is being created as a space where people and teams can grow, reflect, practise and build healthier ways of working together.
Small shifts.
Real conversations.
Practical tools.
Human-centred habits that actually stick.
If any part of this feels familiar…
if you’ve ever looked around at work and thought,
“surely there’s a better way than this”
... you’re probably already a Humaniser.
And you’re very welcome here.
